No single developer could have built an entirely new city neighborhood or successfully addressed the diverse needs of residential, commercial and University components. A team effort was required to bring it all together.

Three well-respected development companies came together to lend their unique talents and specialties to fulfill this ambitious dream. This consortium of participating companies is known collectively as the South Campus Development Team. Each brings a vital, unique set of skills to bear for Ivy Hall.

Mesirow Stein Real Estate, Inc. is one of the Midwest's largest and best-known development firms. Their most significant public and private sector projects have included the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, the AT&T Building, The McCormick Place expansion, the Town of Fort Sheridan and the redevelopment of Glenview Naval Air Station.

The New Frontier Companies is an alliance of 11 firms specializing in new construction, real estate development, and retail and residential property management. Since 1975, New Frontier has developed and managed more than 15,000 dwelling units and worked with the Federal Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Illinois Housing Development Agency.

The Harlem Irving Companies has spent 40 years perfecting the science of retail development, leasing and management in the Chicago area. The last decade has seen the addition of residential development as well. Their most noteworthy projects include their flagship Harlem Irving Plaza, Dunning Square, Twin Ponds in Crystal Lake, Northlake Commons, Deerfield Depot and Washington Square.
